Hampshire Air Ambulance
As part of the companies ongoing commitment and support to both local and national charities, we have recently made a donation to the Hampshire Air Ambulance. Completely funded by charity donations the air ambulance plays a vital role in emergency response to accidents right across Hampshire and sometimes into neighbouring counties, given their ability to reach rural areas quickly it is a charity that has helped many farmers as well as those in trouble in rural areas over the years.
Currently based at Thruxton Airfield, they are moving to a purpose-built site at Southampton Airport and our donation will help to provide accommodation for the crew between call outs.
As part of our funding some of the RA team went up to Thruxton recently to have a look around and meet some of the team, whilst on site the air ambulance took off on a call out and having to some of the paramedics about their work and experiences we all left somewhat inspired and delighted that we are able to play a small part in helping to provide a wonderful service.
