Well, malting barley has not been straightforward in the last few years but 2021-2022 looks to take the biscuit with regard to market dynamics, crop availability and ongoing prospects. We will give a brief overview of where we are currently, touch on some external influences and look forward to 2022.

Tim Cox from Devon grows Maris Otter for Otter Brewery and Charlie Watson-Smyth Grows Maris Otter for St. Austell Brewery, both with the support of Simpsons Malt and Robin Appel Ltd.
